      Let's dive into the world of SEO, as Ancient Proverb goes “Slow and steady wins the SEO race.”

      There are a lot of SEO mistakes people make while deploying SEO campaign especially those who are new to SEO, as they don't have patience and they don't know the head and tail of SEO.

      To begin with, let's talk about Link Building. Link Building is a core part of SEO strategy and many people make mistakes while executing this process. Before penguin update, people used to build thousands of spam backlinks and their keywords used to rank first in SERP.

      But, now SEO completely depends on the quality of content rather than quantity of spam backlinks pointing towards it. But all they get in reality are spam backlinks, which are strictly violating Google’s quality guidelines.

      Most likely they would lower the overall keyword position in SERP for their website since  it would add a lot of low-quality spammy links.

      These spam backlinks are temporary and disappear after a period of time. These backlinks are a clear sign of Blackhat SEO which might lead to Google penalties for your website.

      So I would really suggest you to just stay away from such tools to avoid spammy link .

      Paid Link always lie in a grey area. Many Companies offer paid backlinks from high PR pages and people usually fall on it and buy this link. But google is against these paid links. Earlier people used to pay money to buy high authority backlinks, but now they pay to remove these backlinks because of Google penalty.

      Submitting your website to free directories just to get free backlinks doesn’t work any longer. Furthermore, your website might be penalized since Google is getting really aggressive with low-quality SEO tactics like free directory submissions,  which can negatively impact your site in search ranking. Infact, 50% of the free directory submission websites are no longer to be found in Google. Hence it is better to avoid such low-quality tactics or submit your website only on trusted directories.
